Oddly Audacious Apps

Oddly Audacious Apps is a small independent studio that makes tools for field ecology: apps for counting, mapping and describing habitats, running camera traps and recording soundscapes. They are built by a scientist and educator for students, researchers and conservation teams who work where there is little or no signal, and they keep your data on your own devices.

Coming in early 2027

Our newest apps, HabitatLens, FaunaLens and SongLens, together with HabitatLens Desktop, are in the final stages of field testing. They will be available to the public in early 2027. Want to hear when they launch? Write to us and we'll let you know.

Our apps, HabitatLens, FaunaLens and SongLens, are described at gethabitatlens.app.
